Gardening TN or Traveler’s Notebook

A Gardening TN. I was trying to figure out how to keep track of our garden and then it hit me! Use one of the Traveler’s Notebooks to make a Gardening notebook. Don’t you love when the answer to a problem hits you in the face? AND you don’t have to spend any additional money?!?

In a past post, I showed off a fabric fauxdori that I had made. I already had a TN insert with gardening notes in it, but I needed a calendar. Our wall calendar was full of other obligations, and trying to keep track of gardening information on it wasn’t working.

My Yellow Paper House Inserts!

I had purchased the 2017 quarterly pack: four booklets, split up quarterly, with a month of two pages, and a week on two pages. I had intended on my B6 traveler’s notebook being my planner for 2017, but the Passion Planner is filling the goal meeting need.

I do have some guilt about buying dated inserts and not using them. But when it hit me that I could use these for my gardening notebook, I couldn’t wait to get home to set it up.

In this video, I walk you through how it is set up:

Gardening Notes booklet: bought at Walmart in the office supplies section, for $0.88. The website link has a different price. I recommend checking your local store for these.

Yellow Paper House 2017 quarterly pack: This pack works great for keeping track of watering and rainfall, and the week on two pages has enough space to make planting and fertilizing notes on all your plants.

Wow I’ve never thought of having a gardening journal. But it does make sense. It would sure help me keep track of things. Nice idea!
