Genealogy Documentation

This is a really long post, probably one of my longest ever!

I’ve always had a slight interest in Genealogy, but with the amount of aunts, uncles, and cousins I have, no typical family history book could hold and organize the information. Now this format is great for gathering information, but doesn’t allow for the tree format.

This is best done on the computer in some sort of word processing program. A word processing program also allows for you to insert bullet points or insert a formal outline for organization.

Feel free to copy and paste this outline and use it for yourselves. You can fill in and delete where necessary.

I need to send this to my mom, she loves this stuff! You’re right, being organized is really helpful.

Nice share. Sometimes the things we love – that’s the most obvious to share, but we have no idea how valid it would be to others. I am sure this will be helpful to many.

I am really into family history and have been able to go back 14 generations on my dads side. Working on my mothers now, plus hubby side.
