Good morning, dear readers,
I’m going on my fourth year here at Tales from A Polk County Girl. During this time I’ve published almost 500 posts and shared countless YouTube video links from my YouTube channels. If you’ve followed me from my old blog, A Head Without a Thought, you’re aware that I initially come to a paid-for domain to I could put Google Ads on the site to earn a little bit of side money.
Well, it’s been four years, and this site has cost me more money in hosting and security fees than I ever expected to pay or have earned in Ad Revenue. I’ve been considering my next step for a while now, and have made the decision to move back to my free WordPress.com site. In addition the old site being free, which is a plus for me right now, it will automatically upload new posts to my Tales From a Polk County Girl Facebook page.
The original blog was called A Head Without a Thought, but I’ll be re-titling it Tales From A Polk County Girl. The link will still be caendicott.wordpress.com.
What’s going to happen to all this content? I’ve exported it and have imported it to the new/old site. I have some categories to reorganize and YouTube video links to fix. This will take some time, but I figure it I do a little bit each weekend, I’ll get through it.
Thank you for sticking with me on this site. I’ll understand if you don’t want to head back over to my other site.
All the Best,
