QuinPlanner Insert Review

***I volunteered to do a beta test on a traveler’s notebook insert. I received this insert file in exchange for a blog post review and YouTube video.***

I received a sample of the Quinplanner 2 day planning page. The designer, Quinty, is planning on opening up and ETSY shop to sell this digital download. There is a Facebook page for the company Quinplanner and a website.

Some quick background about the designer. She is a 15 year old from the Netherlands, and she has been designing things in various forms (graphic design and her own full planner of 171 pages).

Quinty has some suggestions for using this printable:

*The buttons can be used to indicate that you’ve done your job.

*The squares are to indicate how important the task is. You can paint with a color ranking system. Or a number.

*On the left for the task, you can write the time like from 10|11.

*Upcoming weeks is just to help you plan your days so you can see if there is something important what you already can do.

*Also, keep in mind that this is just about the layout. The design is going to change to a modern version versus a classic what I have right now. Also there will be different sizes.

Walk Through:

The digital download is an 8 1/2” x 11” sheet. It automatically fits into a full size planner. I cut it down a little so it would fit in my traveler’s notebook.

Two columns: Today and Tomorrow, with 15 lines and each line has a square or circle check box. Underneath, you also have space for Notes, Water Intake, Exercise, and Meal Planning. And an Upcoming Weeks grid.

I used it to sketch out my weekend. I did two difference layouts. The first, I put in hours along the left columns going from 8 am to 8 pm. The second layout, I made a list of everything going on for my Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I liked this better. This is typically how my weekend layouts look.

What I liked:

I really liked the list format of this planner insert. I’ve always been a list maker.

What I did not like:

It’s not even. When I fold the page, part of the Today check boxes are on the right side of the fold. This sound very nit-picky, but it bugs me.

I said I trimmed it down to fit in my traveler’s notebook, and I ended up cutting off the Upcoming Weeks grid.

Take Away:

This is a great printable that can be customized to whatever you need that day.

I love making lists & being organized. This seems like a great way to go about it. There is something so satisfying about writing down a “To Do” list & being able to cross things off the list. I would definitely try it. Thanks for sharing!

I love my planner. This is a pretty nice set up! My planner is a little on the smaller side so I can keep it in my purse, I can’t add a lot of stickers. It makes me sad but at least it’s pretty.
